All members are bound by a code of practice covering ethics, breeding and selling. 

Each member, upon signing an application for membership or renewal of memberhip of DOGS Victoria, and being duly elected to general membership of DOGS Victoria, shall, in addition to agreeing to be bound by the Constitution, Rules and Regulations of DOGS Victoria, be also bound by DOGS Victoria Code of Practice relating to responsible dog ownership, including the keeping, welfare, breeding, selling and disposing of dogs by members.
